About the Role

RDG Drains is looking for an experienced and motivated Drainage Division Manager to lead our growing drainage team. This is a key management position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and can confidently coordinate both customers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering inbound calls and providing professional customer support
  • Booking and scheduling drainage jobs
  • Managing day-to-day operations of drainage engineers
  • Advising customers on drainage issues, solutions, and recommended services
  • Preparing and issuing quotations
  • Overseeing staff holiday allocation, overtime, and daily rota planning
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to company standards
  • Supporting the wider management team to drive growth and service quality

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years drainage industry experience (essential)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confident decision-maker with excellent problem-solving ability
  • Experience managing a team or supervising field engineers (preferred)
  • Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy environment
