We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic
Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
to join our Nursery / EYFS team at Bede Academy (South). The successful candidate will work closely with the Nursery Manager, AVP for Reception and KS1 and teaching staff to provide high-quality support for children aged 3–4, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Assist with daily routines, including snack time, toileting, and outdoor play.
- Work 1:1 or with groups to promote progress and engagement.
- Help maintain a positive, nurturing environment that reflects the Academy's Christian ethos.
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
Person Specification
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Passion and love for children and young people and their education
- Alignment with our Christian ethos.
- Understanding of child development and EYFS principles.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to promoting equality, inclusion, and safeguarding.
