We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Duties

  • Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Diagnosing electrical faults using hand tools and power tools, then executing effective repairs or replacements.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan electrical installations.
  • Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Collaborating with other tradespeople and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used for each project.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
  • Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance are highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to read technical diagrams accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards at all times.
  • Valid UK driving licence is preferred for mobility between sites. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a challenging position that values technical expertise and professionalism within the electrical trade.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £20.22-£29.36 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
