The Opportunity

As Finance Director, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, delivering operational change, and supporting strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to the CFO and FP&A Director, and working closely with the PE investors, you will lead the finance function through a period of turnaround and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial strategy and operations to support rapid growth and profitability.
  • Implement robust financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Drive performance improvement initiatives, including cost optimization and working capital management.
  • Partner with senior leadership and PE stakeholders to deliver value creation plans and support future exit strategies.
  • Build and develop a high-performing finance team aligned with business objectives.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader within a professional services or people-centric business.
  • Strong track record of delivering change and turnaround in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Exposure to private equity-backed businesses and understanding of investor requirements.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to influence at board level and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Hands-on, resilient, and comfortable operating in a transformational setting.
  • Qualified - practice trained is preferred
