Job Introduction
What You'll Do
As a Lift Programme Manager, you will lead the delivery of Notting Hill Genesis' lift refurbishment programme, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest safety standards . Acting as a subject matter expert in Lift engineering and Installation, you'll manage compliance, audit asset quality, and maintain statutory obligations as a landlord. You'll also foster strong relationships with contractors, colleagues, and residents to ensure a smooth and safe experience throughout the refurbishment process.
How You'll Do It
- Carry out condition reports and site audits across NHG's lift portfolio.
- Develop and maintain a 15-year lift refurbishment programme.
- Assist in the development of the NHG Lift Specification
- Prepare surveys, specifications, and designs ahead of each financial year
- Manage tendering processes and identify suppliers to meet NHG requirements.
- Liaise with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and minimal disruption during works.
- Ensure all Building Control applications are submitted in advance of works being required.
- Create snagging lists and ensure items are sufficiently closed before lifts return to service.
- Proactively identify risks and implement solutions based on best practice and legislation.

Essential:
- Qualified NVQ Level 4 – Lift Tester
- Qualified in Health and Safety
- Experience conducting technical surveys and recommending works on a value/lifespan basis
- Experience writing technical lift refurbishment specifications
- Experience in Lift design
- Experience tendering projects
- Experience reviewing reports completed by contractors
- Experience of contractor and programme management
- Strong Understanding of Lift Standards,
- Effective communication skills
- Advanced IT skills and experience with databases and reporting tools
Desirable:
- Qualified in NEBOSH or equivalent
