Croft Avenue Care Home is a warm and welcoming environment where we provide exceptional care for our residents. We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Help residents with mobility issues and transfers.
  • Assist with meal times and ensure that residents are getting proper nutrition.
  • Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
  • Record and report any changes in residents' health or behaviour to senior staff.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Care Assistant is preferred.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and infection control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and under your initiative.
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
