Electrical Design Coordinator

We are seeking an Electrical Design Coordinator based in Banbridge to be part of our growing team.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrician looking to apply their practical knowledge in a design environment, helping to bridge the gap between site delivery and digital engineering.

| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |

• Work closely with our design engineers to assist and guide Revit teams in producing accurate, coordinated electrical services drawings.
• Provide practical, site-based insight to ensure designs are buildable, compliant, and installation-friendly.
• Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and schematics to verify accuracy and coordination.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to resolve clashes, improve layouts, and enhance overall coordination.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams, and other departments to ensure design intent is clearly understood and achievable.
• Attend design coordination and project review meetings as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design and site integration processes across the business.
• This role will involve occasional travel to our London office and to various projects throughout the UK.

| QUALIFICATION |

Essential

• 18th Edition, City & Guilds

Desirable

• A degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline

| EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE |

Essential

• Experience in electrical installations on site within commercial, industrial or health care installations.
• Strong technical knowledge of LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security, and data systems
• Good working knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations

Desirable

• Knowledge and experience using AutoCAD, Navisworks and other PDF markup software.
