Due to successful business growth, we are currently recruiting additional Fabricator/Welders to join our team. As a Fabricator/Welder for B&B Attachments you will be responsible for fabricating and welding steel components used in the build of our products. You will ensure a good finish of the product to which you are working on and that it conforms with the technical drawing and applicable tolerances.

Duties include:

  • Fabricating and welding components as per technical engineering drawings
  • Single and multi-run fillets, burning and grinding
  • Use of hand tools
  • Assessing which welding equipment is required and which method is the most appropriate for a specific welding task
  • Inspecting welded surfaces and dressing them for the best finish

Role Requirements:

  • Must be fully qualified with a relevant level 3 in metal fabrication and/or welding
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions
  • An understanding of the properties of the materials you work with
  • Inspecting completed work to verify that it meets specifications
  • Ensuring that safe work practices are followed and adhered to

Highest starting salary rate of £17.50 per hour will apply to certified coded welders (appropriate standard - EN ISO 9606-1:2017). Certification must be in date.

Hours of Work:

  • Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4pm
  • Friday 8am-12pm
  • Contracted hours are 36 hours per week
  • Overtime is regularly available at an enhanced rate
