Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) required to start immediately in a permanent, full-time position.
11-18 mixed comprehensive school in Sutton.

A respected school in Sutton is looking for a permanent SENDCo to lead and coordinate the provision for students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will work closely with staff, students, and parents to ensure that all students with SEND are supported to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This is a unique opportunity to lead a committed team and make a lasting impact on the lives of students.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and National Award for SEND Coordination (or working towards it).
  • Proven experience as a SENDCo or in a similar leadership role within SEN.
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies, legislation, and effective support practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A clear DBS.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
