Job Overview

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team, working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role involves picking and packing orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in order fulfilment. You will be responsible for loading steel doors onto delivery vehicles and transporting them to the manufacturing department as required.

The successful candidate will also operate a counterbalance forklift truck to load pallets onto wagons, ensuring safe and secure transportation. Additionally, you will use handheld scanners to maintain accurate stock levels and assist with general warehouse maintenance to keep the workspace clean, safe, and organised. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive approach to daily warehouse operations.

We have 2 positions that we are recruiting foron our 2pm-10pm shift. All shifts are Monday-Friday only.

Skills & Experience Required

· Forklift licence is an essential requirement.

· Full UK driving licence is an essential requirement.

· Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.

· Experience in picking and packing orders accurately.

· Ability to safely handle and load heavy items, such as steel doors.

· Experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck (preferred but not essential)

· Familiarity with using handheld scanners for stock management.

· Knowledge of safe manual handling practices.

· Experience in general warehouse maintenance and organisation.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong teamwork and communication skills.
