Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-time 3 days a week Warehouse Packer to join our team for an immediate on-going start. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packing and preparing dried dog food products for shipment while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pack and label dog food products according to company standards.
  • Inspect products for quality and report any defects or issues.
  • Weigh, seal, and box products for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized packing station.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking packing materials.
  • Work efficiently to meet daily packing quotas and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse or packing experience preferred but not required.
  • be able to regularly lift weights up to 15kg
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Basic math and reading skills for accurate labelling and inventory tracking.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Probationary Period:

  • This position includes a 3-month probationary period during which performance and suitability for the role will be assessed.
