Role Summary:
Responsible for forecasting and managing demand and supply of assigned categories, through working closely with operations, sales and marketing in identifying problems and developing recommendations. Build strong working relationships with Sales, Marketing and Product Management, Customer Service, Divisional HQ, Imaging Logistics and Planning team internally, and Customers, Customs, Product Suppliers Customer Service, Freight and Logistic Suppliers externally.

*Your day-to-day might include:
Supply Chain Planning:*

  • Secure the stock needed for of finished goods from Manfrotto Lino, Colorama and our partner brands
  • Maintain strong working relationships and communications with key contacts within the supply chain in Bassano (Italy)
  • Create distribution orders (DO's) and monitor open purchase orders to ensure OTD (on time delivery) is met
  • Proactively report finished goods availability issues and coordinate inventory planning/replenishment of all finished goods
  • Input and analyse system planning data to ensure SO99+ is effectively planning future requirements

Demand Planning

  • Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) in collaboration with Sales & Customers
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions
  • Utilise a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts
  • Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products and product phase-outs
  • Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with Supply Planning
  • Work with Customer Service (local and central teams) in order to provide the best support on product availability and customer satisfaction, analysing the service level provided to the customers
  • Participate and contribute to monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process.

*What We're Looking For:
Essential:*

  • 5+ years experience in SCM and or/product procurement
  • Independent, proactive, service-oriented
  • Able to self-organize. Independent in goals' reaching.
  • Skills and attitude in managing mass data and analysis
  • Knowledge of Office (mainly Excel and Access)
  • Good knowledge of an ERP (M3)
  • Good reporting attitude
  • Available to work by objectives. Look for results. Analysis and implementation attitude.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
