About the role

  • Job Title: Project Co-ordinator - Brain Injury Identity Card
  • Location: Hybrid – Home-based with a minimum of one full day per week in the Nottingham office
  • Salary: £25,750 (full time equivalent for 35 Hours)
  • Contract: Permanent, part-time – 22-28 hours per week

What you will do

  • Coordinate all aspects of the Brain Injury Identity Card service, from verifying applications to ensuring accurate and timely dispatch.
  • Communicate sensitively with survivors, families, and professionals to guide them through the application process.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, GPs, and neuro teams to confirm diagnoses and validate medical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential digital records using Salesforce CRM, ensuring compliance with GDPR.
  • Support the Justice Programme Manager in promoting the Brain Injury Identity Card across the justice system and Headway network.
  • Recruit, mentor, and support a volunteer providing administrative assistance.
  • Provide cover for the Headway Emergency Fund during periods of absence.

About you

  • Have experience in administrative or project coordination roles.
  • Be confident using digital systems (Microsoft 365 and CRM databases such as Salesforce).
  • Have experience handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals who may have complex needs, as well as carers and professionals.
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Understand safeguarding, data protection (GDPR), equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Be able to work independently, while contributing positively to a wider team.
