The Role

As a
Test Engineer
, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of CluePoints' products. You'll be responsible for planning, executing, and improving both manual and automated testing processes within your squad. Working closely with Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders, you will help shape testing strategies, drive quality initiatives, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing frameworks and practices.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of experience as a Test/QA Engineer
• 1-2 years Test automation experience using (Playwright, Cypress OR Selenium Web driver)
• Experience with test management tools such as Zephyr, Xray, or similar
• Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation (Test Plan, Test Strategy)
• Hands-on experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
• Understanding and practical experience with exploratory testing
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes

(Nice to have)

• Test Automation experience in Playwright (advantageous)
• Regulation experience in the pharmaceuticals (clinical trials), Insurance / Banking / Fintech (advantageous)
• Master's degree in Science, IT, or equivalent experience in a related role

What You'll Be Doing

• Plan and execute application testing in cooperation with Product Owners and squad members
• Identify, document, and track issues throughout the development lifecycle
• Drive reduction of manual testing debt within the squad
• Lead and execute
  release validation/regression testing
  phases
• Collaborate closely with Software/Test Engineers and Product Managers across CluePoints to ensure quality objectives are met
• Promote
  testing best practices
  (e.g., shift-left approach) and provide guidance to enable developers to test effectively
• Cooperate with fellow Test Engineers to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
• Provide relevant
  testing metrics and reports
  to stakeholders
• Review and provide feedback on functional documentation (e.g., specifications)
