Contract: Permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday

We have the opportunity for a Senior Agency Surveyor to join the Commercial Estates team at Align Property Services.

As an Agency Surveyor, you will lead on property disposals, lettings, and acquisitions across the North of England, advising both local authority and private clients. You'll manage a diverse portfolio of instructions including sales, lettings, acquisitions, and development opportunities, while preparing marketing strategies, valuations, and disposal reports. Working closely with our in-house specialists in architecture, building surveying, engineering, and sustainability, you'll maximise value and deliver integrated solutions.

The role also involves leading marketing campaigns, conducting viewings, negotiating heads of terms, and providing accurate client reporting and advice in line with RICS standards and public-sector governance. You will build and maintain strong relationships with developers, investors, and occupiers, support business development initiatives, and mentor junior team members.

To be successful in this position, you will:

  • Be MRICS qualified (or working towards) with significant experience in commercial agency or valuation.
  • Be able to manage multiple transactions and deliver results.
  • Have strong negotiation skills and be an excellent communicator, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Be IT proficient, including the use of Microsoft Packages

  • Hold a full UK driver license, with access to a vehicle.
