Job Description

We're seeking experienced Self-Employed Couriers and a Lead Driver to join our Manchester team on a full-time, permanent basis (this is not a seasonal/Christmas role). As a Courier, you'll play a key role in delivering multi-drop parcels for major clients while helping to build and shape our new team. This role offers rapid progression to supervisory positions for high-performing candidates, providing a clear career path within our growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently complete multi-drop parcel deliveries across Greater Manchester
• Lead by example, maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Support the training and onboarding of new drivers as the team grows.
• Prepare for progression to a supervisory role, overseeing team performance and operations.

• Permanent Role: Full-time, stable position with a Monday-to-Friday working week, with Saturdays on a rota basis. During peak months (October to December) there are requirements for Saturday and Sunday working days on a rota basis
• Training & Support: Comprehensive onboarding, including health and safety, data protection, and client-specific training.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years, with fewer than 6 penalty points and no serious Endorsements).
• Proven experience as a multi-drop delivery driver, Lead driver or Manager in contracts such as Evri/DPD/DHL etc.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a desire to progress to a supervisory role and beyond
• Owner drivers welcome Long wheelbase vans aged 5 years or less are compliant for use
• Vehicle can be supplied at a competitive rate, with no upfront costs
• Comfortable with Delivery devices or a smartphone for delivery apps and route planning.
• Right to work in the UK (verified per the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006).

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, Saturday on a rota basis. Peak season requirements of weekend work until January
• Flexibility to meet operational needs, with advance notice for scheduling.

• Pickup location Trafford (specific depot details provided upon application).
