CNC Turner – Setter/Operator (Fanuc Controls)

Near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join a well-established precision engineering company. In this role, you will set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes to produce high-accuracy components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC turning machines fitted with Fanuc controls
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to manufacture parts to tight tolerances
  • Complete machine setups and carry out inspections of finished components
  • Ensure all work meets company and customer quality standards
  • Make minor program edits and adjust offsets as needed
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors

Your Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator
  • Confident in setting and running Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes
  • Knowledge of Fanuc G-code programming (beneficial)
  • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
