Aircraft Technicians Wanted – BAE Systems
Location: RAF Coningsby | 12-Month Contract - £22.57ph PAYE or £30.24ph UMB | Military Aircraft Programme
BAE Systems is hiring experienced
Aircraft Technicians
to support depth maintenance on military aircraft. If you've got strong fault-finding skills, platform experience, and a passion for precision, this is your chance to join a high-performing team working on mission-critical assets.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics on aircraft and components
• Ground handling, flight servicing, role changes, AD embodiments, and system testing
• Fault analysis and resolution using approved technical data
• Supporting compliance with MOE and Functionally Mandated Procedures
• Mentoring junior team members and certifying work (if licensed)
What You'll Need:
• Engineering Apprenticeship (ideally in Aeronautical Engineering, or Military equivalent apprenticeship)
• City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 (in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent)
• Aircraft platform training (on-aircraft requirement)
• 3+ years' experience with proven currency and recency
• Strong systems knowledge and diagnostic ability
• Familiarity with FMPs, SHE policies, and MOE compliance
• BAE Systems licence (or ability to certify under supervision)
