The Position

To trunk and input our clients' pallets in to the network hub for national distribution and collect a returning trailer.

The responsibilities of the role will be as follows:

  • Deliver and collect all pallets safely as allocated
  • Complete all trunking within time frames set by the network
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks on your allocated vehicle
  • To report any defects on the vehicle
  • To report any incidents that you or the vehicle are involved in from the location
  • To comply with the company driver behaviour guidelines

The Individual

To suit this role, you will have and be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Hold a full Class 1 licence with CPC modules 2 & 4
  • Strong understanding of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Be a strong communicator
  • Strong work ethic
  • Keen attention to detail and a desire to get things right the first time
  • You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude towards change
  • Be a quick and eager learner whilst being able to ask for help and assistance when needed
  • Able to use your own initiative to complete tasks
  • Personable, polite, and friendly with an approachable nature
  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Night trunking experience not necessary but would be an advantage.

The Package

· £44,000 per annum

· You will be given full training and support to meet the requirements of the role

· 20 Days Annual Leave, excluding public holidays

· Company pension scheme

· Death in service benefit
