What you will be doing:
As a project controller within the DN MRT team, you will be supporting with the daily running of the DN MRT Project in line with best practice PM processes.

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It's a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, frequency will depend on business needs, nature of role, what works for the team and for the individual. You'll be focused on collaborative working within a dynamic team, ensuring the effective deployment of agile programme management. You will be working alongside programme and technical teams to help ensure cross functional teams deliver against the requirements set by the programme using the business processes available.
- Supporting, and potentially leading, on the creation, analysis and integration of project and business related data including; cost and schedule baselines (budgets, risk contingencies, network schedules, and scope changes) within the programme.
- Supporting the programme team on delivery of core tasks such as weekly/monthly reporting, change control, assurance on delivery tasks and management of risk and opportunities.
- Gathering of project data and production of information for management review, including interfacing with programme, customer and engineering teams to ensure necessary data is available and correct.
- Supporting improvements or leading elements, performing planned data downloads, interrogation and audits to make controlled updates to our tools and processes that drive towards maximum efficiency and data integrity.
- Data consolidation, reporting and communications.
- Supporting in running an agile project environment that supports transparency on daily task management.

- Degree or equivalent Continuous Professional Development or appropriate on the job experience.
- Basic knowledge of Project Management.
- Demonstrable experience of working within a project delivery organisation.
- Good analytical skills - ability to analyse and interpret information.
- Ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to deliver accurate work within service level agreements and use initiative to work through issues and barriers
- Experience of managing a number of tasks simultaneously, prioritising activity to meet deadlines
