Our Clients are a Our family -owned nursing home offering accommodation for 22 elderly residents, who require continuous nursing care for older people with dementia or continuing health care needs. They are looking for a registered manager who is passionate about elderly care to join our team. As a Registered Manager you will be responsible for the care, commercial management and profitability of the home, and all external regulatory requirements. Your role includes the efficient and effective day to day running of the Home, developing exceptional personalised service for every service user and their loved ones, management of all staff and developing positive working relations with external stakeholders. This is a full -time role.The home is rated as "Good" by CQC so you will be joining an experienced and friendly team.Responsibilities :Provide leadership, management and the highest level of support to the team, to ensure the very best outcomes in everything we doAbility to take ownership of achieving the highest levels of compliance with regards to regulations, laws, quality standards & policies, ensuring we achieve a minimum of "Good" CQC inspectionAccountable for the Health and Safety of staff and clients; ensuring relevant policies and procedures are followed at all times providing a safe working environmentEnsure consistent application of Right at Home policies, procedures and approved practice; and to promote our aims and valuesContinually review and improve processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is being delivered to our clientsAbility to identify and recruit high quality staff, implement excellent training and maintain high retention ratiosEnsure the provision of staff training is implemented and the delivery of very high quality care services, to vulnerable people living in their own home, is achieved consistentlyAbility to ensure the Scheduling is effectively designed to ensure CarerGivers deliver the allocated care to the client.To take ownership of quality assurance and governance through scheduled Spot Checks, Service Reviews, Internal Audits, and Annual Surveys.To be a key figure in ensuring the business grows sustainably but in line with commercial targetsAbility to complete and continuously improve the Assessments, Risk Assessments and Support Plans to ensure the outcome of the client is achieved effectively and the customers' expectations are exceeded by going the extra mile.Take responsibility for ensuring the emergency on -call mobile phone is covered outside normal office hours, including holding the phone as part of the on -call rota. Requirements Education, Skills and Qualifications:A qualified RGN/RMN with a valid NMC pin numberHold, or be working towards, a Level 5 qualification in Social CarePrevious experience working within a nursing home is essentialPrevious experience working as a registered home manager is desirable but not essential.A committed and organised approach.We require an excellent communicator with experience in leading and motivating staff members.A good understanding of Regulatory Compliance and the ability to demonstrate delivery of a quality service
