About the opportunity:

Mastermyne has successfully been awarded a 3 year + 2 year contract with GM3 at Appin Colliery, to supply personnel for development, longwall, gas drainage drilling and general underground coal works.

We currently have vacancies for Experienced Electricians to join our team.  Ideally, we are looking for suitably experienced mining electricians with experience in longwall, development, mine services or surface maintenance, however we will also consider other heavy industries.

About you:

For your application to stand out you will have a strong work ethic and willingness to roll up your sleeves, to get the job done safely. We seek employees that want to work hard to maintain the quality standards we have set and that want to keep challenging each other to exceed expectations.

Minimum Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience working safely in a similar role in an underground coal mining environment preferred;
• Electrical Licence;
• Australian recognised trade certificate;
• EEHA Certification;
• HV Switching certificate;
• Training transcripts and/or qualifications & tickets
• Valid ID and Work Rights in Australia.

You will also be required to undergo a NSW Order 43 medical, Functional and Drug & Alcohol.
