Position Summary

  • Set up and operate CNC and manual brake press machines.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Select, inspect, and install correct tooling for each job.
  • Measure and check completed work to ensure tolerances and quality standards are met.
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Work closely with the production and quality teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment

Position Key Attributes

· To assist in all brake press production requirements within the department, working in the most efficient and effective way possible.

· To set and operate Amada HFE 130-4, HFE130-3 and HFEII170-4/8

· Must be able to read drawings and work without supervision.

· Folding a maximum of 3mm Mild steel.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 3.00pm & Friday 7.00am to 12.30pm

37½ Hours per week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
