Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care Worker. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting clients within their homes, ensuring they receive personalised care tailored to their needs. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by providing high-quality home care services. The role involves working closely with clients, creating and implementing care plans, and maintaining effective communication with both clients and colleagues.

We have various shifts available-days, evening and nights.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised home care to clients, assisting with daily activities such as personal hygiene.
  • Support clients in accordance with individualised care plans, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Assist with organising and updating care plans regularly to reflect changing needs or preferences
  • Document all care activities accurately using IT systems and report any concerns or changes in client condition promptly
  • Foster a respectful and empathetic environment, promoting independence and dignity for each client

Qualifications

  • Valid driving licence and experience driving safely in various conditions
  • Prior experience working within a care home or providing home care is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of developing and following care plans tailored to individual needs
  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: From £12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
