Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals within their homes and care facilities. This role involves delivering personalised care to enhance the quality of life for seniors and individuals with specific health needs. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine desire to assist others. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through compassionate caregiving.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments
  • Support with medication administration and management according to care plans
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
  • Document care provided accurately and report any concerns to supervisors.

Requirements

  • Prior experience desirable but not essential.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication skills and a caring attitude towards clients of all ages, including children when applicable
  • Ability to handle behavioural challenges with patience and professionalism
  • Physical fitness to perform caregiving tasks that may involve bending, lifting, or standing for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed within the community care setting

Pay: £13.45-£14.45 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
