Job Overview

Independent Maritime Agencies are currently recruiting for an Imports Logistics Coordinator to join our ever growing and reputable business, which has been a leading provider of freight logistics and maritime services for over 30 years.

The ideal candidate must be a driven, highly organised individual with a clear eye for detail and who is looking to build a career.

Whilst we are a maritime agency, the nature of the role is closely related to that of a transport planner/manager, so provided the candidate has experience in a fast-paced logistical environment no specific shipping experience is required.

Experience

  • Managing imports and all aspects of the process
  • Quoting customers and ensuring all communication is accurate and polite
  • Maintaining strong communication with stakeholders throughout each booking lifecycle
  • Ensuring all stakeholders are kept fully updated and provided required information
  • Ensuring all systems/spreadsheets are kept fully up to date
  • Monitor arrival dates and update clients of any change/rearranging haulage as required
  • Building/maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Invoicing clients
  • Working week is Monday to Friday
  • Core working hours are 09:00 – 17:30

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
