We are now seeking an LGV Class 1 Driver to join us permanently, full-time, at our Basingstoke site (RG24 8BY). The role offers a salary of £41,759.89 per annum.

The Role

As an LGV Class 1 Driver, you will complete deliveries and collections of building-related products across our dedicated Howdens depots and Yusen depots across southern England.

Your start times will be approximately between 5am and 7am, but some flexibility will be needed to fit in with the needs of the business.

About You

To be considered as an LGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

  • A full, valid LGV Class 1 driving licence
  • A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR, or DG codes)
  • A valid DCPC qualification
  • A valid Digital Tachograph card
  • Excellent communication skills
  • To be customer-focused
  • To be able to work within a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • A flexible approach to your work and the ability to start at different times if necessary
