About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to come and join our Utilities team. In Utilities our modern fleet ranges from butt fusion machines to winches, moles and electrofusion equipment to our state-of-the-art pipeline commissioning equipment. Our equipment is backed by a suite of online tools that help to ensure compliance and deliver real efficiencies.

As Warehouse Operative you will play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the Service Centre. It will be your job to prepare the equipment to ensure that it is clean and ready for customers to hire.

Your duties will include:

  • Cleaning and preparing equipment.
  • Checking and storing off-hired equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse, workshop and storage areas.
  • Liaise with customers on a day to day basis when loading and unloading job.
  • Goods in and goods out processing.
  • General Warehouse duties.

What you will need to bring to the role from day one:

  • The physical fitness required to undertake your daily tasks.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to complete job duties on time.
  • Good level of Customer Service.
  • Willing to undertake relevant training and development.
  • Commitment to health and safety - Knowledge of PPE requirements and COSHH is an advantage.
