Future_find are working alongside a sector-leading Private Equity group to place an Investment Associate / Investment Manager into their UK Investments team.

About:

The position will be responsible for assisting with origination, assessment, execution and management of investment activity across the full deal cycle, working closely with management teams, advisers and portfolio companies. This role combines sourcing, rigorous evaluation, deal execution and active portfolio stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and screen opportunities via market mapping, networks and inbound flow; prepare concise assessments and recommendations.
  • Financial modelling, valuation and scenario analysis; coordinate third-party diligence (commercial, financial, legal, operational).
  • Support term sheet/SPA negotiation, financing and investment committee materials.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, drive KPI tracking and value-creation initiatives; contribute to bolt-ons, refinancings and exits; assist with board and investor reporting.
  • Coach junior colleagues and contribute to firm projects (fundraising, process improvement, research); uphold high analytical, governance and ethical standards.

deal profile:

  • 3+ years' experience in direct investments - private equity, growth equity, growth capital, buy & builds.
  • Advanced modelling, accounting and valuation skills; understanding of transaction structuring.
  • Prior experience working with SME and Lower Mid-Market investment targets.
  • Meticulous, clear communicator, able to build credibility with senior stakeholders; self-starter with strong ownership.
  • Strong academic track record; ACA/CFA/MBA advantageous (not essential).
  • FCA certified or eligible under SMCR.
