Are you a skilled Design Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions in the water and wastewater industry? We're working with a well-established engineering contractor to find a driven and detail-oriented individual to join their design team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce practical, constructible, and cost-effective design layouts in line with specifications and project requirements.
  • Ensure standard practices and procedures are followed to promote consistency and efficiency.
  • Contribute estimates and technical input for project proposals.
  • Support continuous improvement by developing and reviewing departmental procedures.
  • Coordinate designs across internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery.
  • Incorporate environmental and health & safety considerations into all design work.
  • Foster a customer-focused approach, supporting both external clients and internal departments.

Essential

  • Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • HND in an engineering-related discipline (degree preferred).
  • Proven ability to create rationalised and economical plant layouts.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to handle complex and varied technical data.
  • Confident in presenting technical concepts to a range of audiences.
  • Proficient with design software and general computer applications.
