Main purpose
To take responsibility for all quality issues pertaining to the designated Customer base by providing the working specifications, equipment, and other information necessary to enable key stakeholders to efficiently control the manufacturing product quality.
To relentlessly drive through continuous improvement in all activities. To carry out GMP audits, internal audits, product testing, complaints management, document control and other relevant tasks to support the upkeep of the business quality management systems.
Key requirements
- Internal Auditor trained (certificate required).
- CMM training, CMM programming advantageous.
- Experience completing forward and backwards traceability systems.
- Experience with ISO9001 standard.
- BRC/HACCP experience advantageous.
Key tasks
- To develop new/improved systems, procedures, methods etc. in a continuous drive for departmental improvements.
- Analyse Production/Quality data.
- Product testing requirements review.
- Internal auditing.
- To provide a measurement service for dimensional reports, including New Product ISIR's.
- To maintain a system for filing and retrieval of customer approved samples.
- To provide a measurement service for dimensional reports, including New Product ISIR's.
- Programming CMM / Quickscope / Lloyds etc for product measurement / test.
- To ensure that established Inspection procedures are observed at all times.
- Maintain 'control' over Production QC level documents / data.
- Liaise closely with Production/Sales/Technical personnel regarding internal non-conformities and customer complaints – serving as complaints administrator for our customer base.
