Purview Data Governance Specialist Consultant

We are working with a leading consultancy on a critical governance POC project focused on integrating Microsoft Purview capabilities across Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint, and CRM environments.

This role is ideal for a data governance professional with hands-on experience in Purview and Fabric, who can deliver robust compliance and governance solutions in a fast-paced setting.

Location: Remote (UK)

Rate: Negotiable

Contract: 6-8 weeks (Proof of Concept) with potential extension to a long-term project

For this role you need:

  • 5-10+ years' experience in data governance or compliance roles within Microsoft ecosystems.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Fabric, and MIP.
  • Familiarity with sensitivity labeling, auto-classification, and governance workflows.
  • Understanding of GDPR principles and data retention policies.
  • Experience with data lineage, cataloging, and integration across Fabric, SharePoint, and CRM.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to deliver in fast-paced environments and putting together POC's.
