Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drainage Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and installing drainage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of drainage systems and pipe networks. Conduct CCTV drain surveys to identify blockages, defects, or structural issues. Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages and clean drains. Install and replace drainage pipes, manholes, gullies, and related infrastructure. Diagnose drainage problems using specialised tools and equipment. Prepare accurate reports, job sheets, and site assessments. Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and other site staff. Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental standards. Respond promptly to emergency callouts or reactive maintenance requests. Maintain equipment and vehicles in good working order.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in drainage maintenance, and civil works.
Familiarity with CCTV drain survey equipment and jetting machinery.
Valid driver's license. Confined space entry & jetting Certificate
Skills & Attributes
Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
Physically fit and capable of working in confined or outdoor environments.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Reliable, self-motivated, and safety conscious.
Working Condition :Outdoor and field-based work, sometimes in adverse weather conditions. Include on-call shifts, weekends, or emergency response work. Use of protective gear and adherence to all safety regulations required(PPE).
