An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bid Manager to join a leading design & build and fit-out contractor renowned for delivering exceptional workplace, refurbishment and construction projects across the UK. This is a hybrid role, offering a balance of hybrid working from their modern Central London office.
As Bid Manager, you will play a key role in driving the business's continued success by leading the preparation, coordination and submission of compelling, client focused bids and proposals. You will work closely with senior management, pre-construction, design and project teams to ensure submissions reflect the company's values, technical excellence and creative approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full bid and tender process from initial opportunity through to submission and post-bid review.
- Lead the coordination of bid documentation, ensuring consistency, compliance, and high-quality presentation across all submissions.
- Work closely with internal teams to gather relevant content, project information, and case studies that demonstrate company capability and expertise.
- Write and edit persuasive bid content tailored to client needs and tender requirements.
- Manage bid timelines and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met and submissions are delivered to the highest standard.
- Support the development of marketing and proposal materials, maintaining brand integrity and message consistency.
- Lead post-tender presentations and contribute to continuous improvement of bid processes and win strategies.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bid Manager or Senior Bid Coordinator within the construction sector.
- Strong writing, editing and storytelling ability with a flair for producing engaging and persuasive content.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, design awareness and understanding of the tendering process within the built environment.
- Confident communicator.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign)
