Overview
Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, as a Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of multiple campaigns to organisations in line with overall business objectives, engage in sales & marketing activities designed to increase brand awareness and lead generation, and promote the company, its solutions and its values within the Not-for-Profit sector and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Take lead responsibility for sales opportunities. Operate independently but also collaborate with colleagues from other departments who are supporting pre-sales and sales activities such as demonstrations, tender responses, events, webinars etc.Manage virtual bid teams in the production of quality documentation in response to formal evaluations.Use D365 to track customer communication, issues and metrics and keep accurate and up-to-date records of client activities and opportunities in CRM whilst building, managing and maintaining a pipeline for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and ERP, and Power Platform opportunities.Generate, qualify and manage leads. Work closely alongside the marketing department to coordinate targeted marketing activities.Be able to communicate effectively at multiple levels of an organisation from C-Level down.Deliver orders and revenue in line with agreed targets. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client activities and opportunities in CRM.Work closely with key technology and solution provider partners such as Microsoft, ClickDimensions, dotdigital, eOne and external stakeholders such as Advisory Consultants.Contribute to the production of articles, blogs, websites, collateral, social media and webinars using experience and knowledge of current drivers in the marketplace gained in sales activities.Other duties as required.
Person Profile
Knowledge and Experience
Minimum of three years' experience in a direct, personal quota-carrying, business development role.Two to three years of experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry.Track record of delivery to revenue/margin targets.Previous experience selling CRM/ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).Previous experience of pipeline management using CRM (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).Personable, adaptable, and flexible with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects, processes, programmes, and procedures simultaneously while working to meet deadlines, goals and deliver on initiatives.Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to effectively operate independently or in a team environment.Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.Highly competent MS Office skills, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint.Personal Attributes

Experience of the Not-for-Profit sector would be a distinct advantage.Microsoft Certifications.Knowledge of Microsoft Technology including Azure Services, Cloud Licensing and CSP.Knowledge of m-hance products and services.Any special circumstances of the role
