About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle)Specialist Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for fitting and installing a wide range of WAV adaptations, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant, and tailored to the needs of each customer.

This includes the installation of seats, restraints, ramps, flooring systems, and a variety of mobility and accessibility components. You'll take pride in producing high-quality workmanship and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and fit WAV adaptations including seats, restraints, tie-downs, ramps, lifts, and floor systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults with existing WAV equipment and fittings.
  • Carry out modifications and bespoke adaptations to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, regulatory and quality standards.
  • Keep accurate job records and maintain a clean, organised workspace.

About You

  • Previous experience working with WAVs, vehicle adaptations or automotive engineering (preferred).
  • Confident in drilling, cutting, fitting, wiring, and general mechanical tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to customer care.
