Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Facilities Manager located in London Gateway. The Facilities Manager will oversee the smooth operation and maintenance of facilities, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and well-maintained. Key responsibilities include managing building maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, coordinating with vendors, managing budgets, and supervising on-site teams or contractors. The Facilities Manager will also implement operational improvements and handle any emergencies or urgent issues efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facility management, building maintenance, and vendor coordination
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in handling emergencies or complex situations
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in facility management software and basic IT systems
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH or facilities management qualifications) are advantageous
  • Ability to work on-site at London Gateway and handle operational responsibilities efficiently
