The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to lead and inspire a small, driven sales team. This role blends strategic thinking with practical, day-to-day involvement — you'll shape the sales direction, nurture key accounts, and guide the team toward ambitious growth targets.

You'll work closely with customers, ensuring every solution reflects the company's commitment to quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of External Sales Representatives and Commission Agents
  • Oversee quoting, estimating, costing, and sales enquiries
  • Manage and develop key client relationships
  • Provide product and technical expertise to clients and colleagues
  • Monitor margins, manage budgets, and report on sales performance
  • Drive and implement an effective, results-focused sales strategy

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in sales management within the office furniture industry
  • Strong knowledge of desking, seating, and related products
  • Confident leadership skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Solid commercial understanding — budgeting, costing, and reporting
  • Competency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
