Job Summary
We are seeking a capable and confident Administration Assistant to join our client's dynamic legal property team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent client relations skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role is essential in supporting fee earners with a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the office. The role sits within the property team and requires some previous experience of property matters.
The role is full time and permanent. You would be working 3 days in central Bristol and therefore must live within a commutable distance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist fee earners in preparing legal documentation and correspondance.
- Conduct searches on properties
- Carry out Land Registry and SDLT applications
- Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and address enquiries.
- Diary Management - schedule appointments, meetings and conferences
- Track work in progress and monitoring deadlines
- Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, copying and printing
Skills and experience required:
- Previous administrative experience within a legal property team is required
- Good working knowledge of databases
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of legal databases and portals such as Land Registry
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
This is an ideal role for someone with 1-2 year's experience in an office/administration role within the legal sector.
PLease note: This is not a suitable role for those looking for SQE qualifying work or a Training Contract.
