We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team on various building projects across North Cornwall. The successful candidate will assist skilled tradespeople, maintain a safe and tidy site, and support the delivery of high-quality construction work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general site duties including loading and unloading materials.
- Prepare and clean work areas, ensuring safe and organised conditions.
- Support trades such as carpenters, bricklayers, and groundworkers as required.
- Mix and handle materials such as concrete, mortar, and plaster.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision..
- Carry out basic groundworks, digging, and backfilling.
- Follow site safety rules, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
- Report hazards or incidents promptly to the Site Manager or Health & Safety Officer.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in general construction or groundworks (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of health & safety practices on site.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Full UK driving licence
