Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, organised and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a residential property. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional service to our client. Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, along with skills in cooking, organising and customer service. The position is fully paid and suitable for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating clean, welcoming spaces. Candidates must be comfortable and experienced around children.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
  • Ensure all rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Restock supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues promptly
  • Handle specialised cleaning tasks such as oven cleaning or carpet shampooing when required
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests professionally and courteously
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintain organised cleaning equipment and supplies at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is preferred
  • Skills in cooking are a plus but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities and professional demeanour
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within designated timeframes
  • Reliable transportation or means to commute to various locations
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques
