Role Overview

As a Warehouse Operative you will play a key role in our operations: receiving, storing and dispatching furniture, accessories, mirrors and lighting products with care and precision. You will help ensure our showroom collections and customer orders are handled efficiently and to the high standard our brand demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, check and log incoming stock (furniture, accessories, lighting, mirrors).
  • Safely store and organise items in the warehouse, maintaining cleanliness and order.
  • Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch (domestic and export) including protective packaging for delicate items.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles (helping with heavier items when required).
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock-control tasks; report discrepancies to team lead.
  • Ensure all items are handled with the care expected of luxury goods (avoiding damage, ensuring quality).
  • Adhere to all health & safety, manual handling and warehouse regulations.
  • Support the warehouse team with any other duties as required (e.g., basic maintenance, cleaning, stock rotation).

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Good physical condition and ability to handle moderate to heavy lifting (with team support).
  • Basic numeracy and organisational skills (to check stock, log items, follow instructions).
  • Ability to work accurately and with care — our products are premium and often fragile.
  • A team-player with a proactive attitude.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the shift/hours required.
  • Willingness to follow health & safety procedures and manual handling training.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, furniture or home-accessory environment.
  • Forklift or pallet-truck licence (or willingness to train).
  • Experience with export packing/shipping processes.
  • Interest in furniture/interiors (fits well with our brand culture).
