What difference will you make?
As Social Media Manager, you'll be the voice of CT5 Pride online, shaping how our community connects, engages, and rallies behind Whitstable's first-ever Pride. Your creativity and storytelling will bring our events, initiatives, and mission to life, making people feel part of something exciting and important. Your work will turn online engagement into real-world impact. Whether it's inspiring someone to attend their first Pride event, encouraging volunteers to get involved, or helping us raise vital funds, your posts will motivate people to take part and feel proud to be part of our movement. By collaborating with the Directors of Marketing, Fundraising, and Retail, you'll ensure every campaign is bold, consistent, and reaches the right audiences.
This role is about more than just posting updates—it's about building a sense of belonging. You'll help LGBTQIA+ people across Whitstable and the CT5 area feel seen, celebrated, and supported, while also reaching allies who want to be part of positive change. Through smart use of analytics and insights, you'll help us grow our platforms and make sure our message is always fresh, relevant, and engaging.
Your impact will be felt both online and off increasing awareness of CT5 Pride, boosting turnout at our events, and creating a real buzz around Whitstable's Pride movement. With your help, our first Pride will be more than just a one-day celebration—it will be the start of a lasting legacy of visibility, inclusion, and community spirit. This is your chance to help shape history, one post at a time.
