Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Proctor to oversee examinations and assessments in a professional educational environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the integrity and smooth conduct of tests, providing a secure and fair testing atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Supervise candidates during examinations to ensure compliance with testing protocols
- Verify candidate identities and maintain accurate attendance records
- Distribute and collect exam papers, materials, and equipment efficiently
- Monitor examination rooms to prevent misconduct or irregularities
- Address candidate queries professionally while maintaining exam integrity
- Enforce rules regarding permitted materials and behaviour during assessments
- Assist with setting up examination venues, including seating arrangements and signage
- Report any incidents or irregularities to appropriate authorities promptly
- Maintain a calm, organised environment conducive to fair testing conditions
Qualifications
- Prior experience in teaching or educational settings is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to remain vigilant and impartial throughout examinations
- Confidence in managing multiple candidates and handling unexpected situations calmly
- Flexibility to work during scheduled examination times, including weekends if required
- A responsible attitude with a commitment to upholding exam standards and confidentiality
