As the company continues its expansion, they're looking to bring in a
Sales Development Representative
to support early-stage client engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or career starter to learn consultative sales in a considered, professional environment where development is genuinely prioritised.
The Opportunity
This role focuses on
starting meaningful conversations
, not hard selling. As a Sales Development Representative, you'll act as the first point of contact for organisations exploring insight-led solutions. You'll take time to understand their challenges, introduce relevant services, and help guide opportunities into the wider commercial team.
You'll be supported by experienced colleagues and given the structure and training needed to build confidence, commercial awareness, and long-term capability.
What You'll Be Doing
- Researching target sectors and organisations within technology and advanced industry
- Initiating professional, well-prepared conversations with prospective clients
- Understanding business needs and identifying where data and insight services add value
- Arranging discovery calls, briefings, and demonstrations for senior team members
- Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date
- Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach and messaging
Training & Progression
- Structured onboarding with a gradual ramp-up period
- Detailed training on products, markets, and consultative sales approaches
- Regular coaching, feedback, and one-to-one support
- Clear progression routes into Account Management, Client Success, or Senior Sales roles
Salary & Benefits
- £28,000–£32,000 base salary (dependent on experience)
- Uncapped commission with realistic earning potential
- Hybrid working based in Newquay
- 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
- Additional performance incentives, including vouchers and team rewards

No previous experience is required.
