Job Opportunity: Senior Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) for a high-profile £50m+ RC frame Residential project. The project, currently in progress with groundworks and the concrete frame well underway, requires a seasoned professional to oversee the heavy procurement phase and manage all commercial aspects for the next two years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Management:
Full oversight of the project's commercial activities, including cost reporting, budgeting, and financial forecasting. - Package Procurement:
Lead the procurement of packages, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to the project timeline. - Client Interface:
Act as the primary commercial point of contact with the client, maintaining strong communication and relationships. - On-site Presence:
Based on-site 5 days per week
Essential Requirements:
- Experience:
Extensive experience in Design and Build (D&B) projects, particularly in large-scale construction. - Expertise:
Proven track record in package procurement and commercial management, with strong communication skills and client-facing experience. - Location:
Candidates should be based locally in Tunbridge Wells or the Southeast London area.
