About The Role
We are looking for a full time administrator to join our procurement purchase order team . The role is working at part of the wider procurement department. You will be responsible for the administration of purchase orders and the good received processing of orders with accuracy in a timely manner.
Location: Preston - Moving to Leyland
Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 (Shifts are 8 - 4 or 9 - 5)
Salary: £25000
Responsibilities – But Not Limited To
- Raising Purchase Orders for goods, chasing suppliers and dealing with associated queries
- Dealing with delivery notes/receipts of goods via the computer system
- Data inputting/updating records.
- Internal and external liaison with suppliers, operational and commercial employees.
About You
- The successful candidate must have previous administration experience.
- You must have excellent Microsoft Office skills inc Excel and be competent in the use of IT systems.
- Previous office experience essential
- Customer interaction/telephone experience
- You must be able to work in a busy role within a team environment #
