London W TH, United Kingdom Harrow Club Full time

We are seeking a Lead Youth Worker to coordinate and deliver the On Track Programme —an after-school enrichment initiative for Year 7 students. The programme combines creative arts, sports, and personal development activities to help young people build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills. The programme launches in January 2026.

About the Programme

On Track is an after-school enrichment programme designed to support Year 7 pupils as they transition into secondary school. Delivered by The Harrow Club, in partnership with Kensington Aldridge Academy and Holland Park School, the programme runs twice weekly (4:00–7:00 pm) term times only and provides a safe, structured, and inspiring environment where young people can develop confidence, skills, and a sense of belonging.

Each session includes:

  • Creative arts to promote self-expression and teamwork
  • Sports and physical wellbeing to build confidence and resilience
  • Personal development and life-skills sessions to encourage positive choices and growth
  • Tailored mentoring to support individual needs
  • A healthy evening meal and safe transport home

Working closely with partner schools, students are carefully selected to ensure the programme reaches those who will benefit most. The Lead Youth Worker plays a vital role in building trusted relationships, guiding personal development, and helping every young person stay on track — both in school and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver On Track sessions, including creative arts, multi-sports, and personal development activities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for partner schools, ensuring effective communication regarding student progress.
  • Monitor and evaluate individual personal development targets.
  • Ensure all sessions comply with safeguarding and statutory requirements, promoting a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Contribute to programme planning, including curriculum design, session timetabling, and enrichment activities.
  • Facilitate workshops and activities, ensuring high-quality engagement with students.
  • Build positive relationships with young people, supporting participation, personal growth, and wellbeing.
