Accounts & Purchase Ledger Assistant Required

Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and detail oriented Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team. This full-time role offers a varied workload and the chance to contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inputting purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statements
  • Managing invoice queries and maintaining accurate records
  • Controlling and inputting credit card statements into Sage
  • General accounts administration and support across the finance function
  • Assisting with sales and purchase ledger duties, including client credit checks and supplier onboarding
  • Preparing reports and liaising with internal teams and external contacts

Essential Skills Required:

  • Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts
  • Experienced in sales ledger, purchase ledger, and accounts administration
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
