We are now seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the industry while working towards becoming a fully qualified electrician.

Role Overview

As an Electrical Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and supervisors on a wide range of electrical projects within commercial and retail environments. You'll learn how to install, test, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, gaining the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in the electrical trade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Support planned and reactive maintenance tasks within commercial and retail premises.
  • Help carry out electrical testing, inspections, and fault finding under supervision.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in good condition.
  • Attend college or training provider sessions as part of the apprenticeship programme.
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures and industry regulations.

  • A keen interest in electrical work and the facilities maintenance industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science (Grade 4/C or above preferred).
  • Full UK driving licence (or working towards it) preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
